Marth 8th 2025 is International Women's Day (IWD)!

Women’s Equality (WE) will be celebrating a day early, on Friday, March 7th , 2025.

To celebrate the day, WE invites student submissions for our International Women’s Day Contest
for New Brunswick Students #IWD2025.

This year, we’re inviting students to share inspiring stories of women who have made an impact on them,
as well as their own vision for gender equality in New Brunswick.

This past March, WE had the privilege of sharing the stories of New Brunswick’s unsung heroes from students
across the province. The submissions received told us about mothers, grandmothers, sisters, neighbours and colleagues; women who have inspired us all.

We have been so impressed and honoured by all those who participated and shared their stories.

This year, we’re excited to hear students' visions for gender equality and to continue celebrating the
inspirational women who make a difference in our province.
